Samagra Sikchhan Evam Vikas Sansthan (SSEVS)<\/strong>\u00a0has its roots in safeguarding children & promoting education, sustainable livelihoods of marginal farmers with market linkage, disaster risk reduction (DRR) & climate change & adaptation, digital literacy, youth girls leadership development & empowerment for Dalits, minority caste, women, persons with disability in North Bihar Region \u2013 West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi,\u00a0 Gaya, Sheohar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Patna, Madhubani, Begusarai, Katihar, and Dharbhanga.<\/strong><\/p>

The area has a rich history of struggle \u2013 this was where Gandhiji led the movement against Indigo farming, and the region also witnessed the Bhoodan movement of the 1950s. However, land alienation & its attendant poverty remain its significant problems.<\/strong>\u00a0 SSEVS also builds the capacity of the people affected by the flood, drought & other disasters to mitigate the risks and losses.\u00a0 The organization works in <\/strong>1006 villages covering 279 Panchayats and 76 Blocks of 12 districts West Champaran, East Champaran, Sitamarhi, Sheohar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Patna, Madhubani, Gaya, Begusarai, Katihar, and Dharbhanga.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>

SSEVS now operates under Sheohar, Muzaffarpur, Vaishali, Patna, Madhubani, Gaya, Begusarai, Katihar, and Dharbhanga.<\/strong>\u00a0who are committed & dedicated to the cause of the development & have belief in non-violence values and principles.\u00a0 SSEVS is working with the total strength of 116 staffs in which 35 are female and 81 are Male.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>
